INTRODUCTION

The The Mouth and AIDS: The Global Challenge 6th World Workshop on Oral Health and Disease (21-24th April 2009) will provide scientists and researchers with the opportunity to present, discuss, and critique their investigations. The meeting will be held in Beijing, China. For general meeting information, please see the conference website.

AGREEMENT

Persons submitting an abstract are doing so with the understanding that they abide by the conditions, deadline policies, and the decisions of the Annual Session Committee. An individual may submit only one abstract and may present only one poster at the meeting, but may appear as a co-author on other abstracts.

Abstracts must not be submitted to the meeting if the work will have been previously published or presented at another meeting prior to the start of this meeting (the paper must be withdrawn if this occurs). If a presentation is later proven to contain previously published materials, appropriate sanctions will be imposed against the author(s), such as prohibiting presentation at the next meeting.

All submitters of accepted abstracts are expected to register for and attend the meeting. If an emergency arises and the presenter is unable to attend, he/she must notify Dr Tim Hodgson in writing prior to the meeting that he/she is withdrawing the abstract or naming a substitute presenter. All notices should be emailed to T.Hodgson@eastman.ucl.ac.uk. The substitute must be a co-author and preferably not already presenting another abstract. Failure to follow these procedures may result in the submitter being prohibited from presenting at the next meeting.

The official language of the meeting and all communications will be English.

REGISTRATION FEES:

All presenters are required to pay the appropriate registration fees. The registration fee schedule is available at the meeting website.

NOTIFICATION

When you submit an abstract, an e-mail message will be sent to you as soon as you submit your e-mail address. This message will remind you of your abstract ID and password, and of the location on the web where you can see what you have submitted. You should also write down your ID and password as soon as they appear in the Abstract Control Panel (the left-hand frame in your browser window) just in case the e-mail message gets lost or delayed on its way to you.
IMPORTANT:  Please be sure to use a valid, long-term e-mail address as it will be used for all further communications (including acceptance/rejection notifications) regarding your abstract.
