METHODS: In the Department Of Dental Surgery was executed 25 surgical operation (such as: the resection of root, the surgical removal of unerupted teeth, the surgical removal of teeth from periodontal indications), which were verified by means of dental x-rays. X-ray was executed with maintenance of repeatability technique by means of bites. Received dental x-rays were processed by graphic software. During the comparative analysis evaluated the level of grayness and the kind of processed texture (the fractal dimension). RESULTS: 1. The algorithm of the processing (graphical preparation) of conventional method was estimated getting the most similar (not identical) picture to the digital ones. 2. Digital dental x-rays received by the modernly method are not identical from received on process with conventional ways without regard processing procedure. It is caused the insertion of spatial non-linear distortions during the procedure of making an x-rays. 3. Received pictures recorded by loss-free compression make up comparable material with imitations of pictures executed on X-ray film. Simultaneously, thanks to use some of the graphic procedures the observation of picture on computer screen can enlarge the efficiency of diagnosis. 4. The separate algorithms of processing for individual cases surgically treated in the Department of Dental Surgery were established. CONCLUSION: 1. The way of scanning and the processing of X-ray that we suggested is the credible imitation of radiological information. 2. The graphic imitation gives an opportunity of data transmission by the e-mail or publications the X-rays. 3. Proposed graphic imitation gives the possibility of enlargement of efficiency of dental diagnosis. 4. Loss-free compression lets possibility subsequent processing of dental X-ray.
