|||||||||||||||
INTRODUCTIONThe Annual Scientific Meeting for BSDR will take place between the 5th to the 7th of April 2007 at The University of Durham. If you are involved in Oral and Dental Research we urge you to submit an abstract for this meeting.. In addition to oral and poster sessions the meeting has an exciting programme of invited plenary lectures, symposia and key note lectures. Further information on the meeting, how to register, the venue, events and scientific programme can be found on the conference web pages We very much look forward to welcoming you to Durham in spring. AGREEMENTPersons submitting an abstract are doing so with the understanding that they abide by the conditions, deadline policies, and the decisions of the BSDR Annual Session Committee. An individual may submit only one abstract and may present only one paper (excluding symposium presentations) at the meeting, but may appear as a co-author on other abstracts. Abstracts must not be submitted to the meeting if the work will have been previously published or presented at another meeting prior to the start of this meeting (the paper must be withdrawn if this occurs). If a presentation is later proven to contain previously published materials, appropriate sanctions will be imposed against the author(s), such as prohibiting presentation at the next meeting. All submitters of accepted abstracts are expected to register for and attend the meeting. If an emergency arises and the presenter is unable to attend, he/she must notify Francis Hughes in writing prior to the meeting that he/she is withdrawing the abstract or naming a substitute presenter. All notices should be emailed to f.j.hughes@qmul.ac.uk. The substitute must be a co-author and preferably not already presenting another abstract. Failure to follow these procedures may result in the submitter being prohibited from presenting at the next meeting. The official language of the meeting and all communications will be English. Please note that all oral presentations at this year's meeting should be presented using Powerpoint presentations and LCD data projection. You will not be able to use your own laptop computer for your presentation. Due to space limitations in printed material, a maximum of 6 authors will be displayed for all abstract submissions. Additional co-authors will be inferred in print using "et al.". All on-line/CD ROM representations of the abstract author list will continue to display all authors as entered by the submitter. It is a condition of abstract submission that all presenters must register for the meeting in advance. You need to register before 19th January 2007 in order to take advantage of the reduced registration rate, otherwise you will incur a late booking fee of £40. You can register for the meeting on line by clicking here. Please note if you do not pre-register for the meeting your abstract will be withdrawn. REGISTRATION FEES:All presenters are required to pay the appropriate registrations fees. The registration fee schedule is as follows:
