Novel Surface Properties of Titanium beyond Chemistry and Topography: How Do We Study Them?

Sponsored by: Prosthodontics Research
Description: Recently, the biological aging property of titanium (natural decrease of its osteoconductivity with time) was discovered. This session introduces novel surface properties of titanium that significantly affect its osteoconductive capacity and provides guidance for how we design implant biological research, not just for product comparison but for scientific evidence.
