Evidence for Interproximal Biofilm Control

Sponsored by: Oral Health Research
Description: This session reviews the mounting evidence showing that numerous products—including floss-holders, interproximal brushes, power flossers, and oral irrigators—provide levels of effectiveness (in removing biofilm and reducing gingivitis and bleeding) similar to those provided by floss. Perceptions vs. evidence will be reviewed.
