Dynamics of Bonding to Bio-altered Dentin Substrates

Sponsored by: Dental Materials
Description: Dentists usually bond resins/composites to bio-altered, clinically relevant substrates, such as caries-affected or sclerotic dentin. The bond that forms don't provide long-term clinical durability. The effects of the chemistry, irregular structure, and micro-mechanics of these substrates on the dentin/adhesive bond will be discussed.
