IADR/AADR/CADR 85th General Session and Exhibition (March 21-24, 2007), New Orleans |
||||||||||||||
INTRODUCTIONThe IADR General Session and Exhibition will provide scientists and researchers throughout the world with the opportunity to present, discuss, and critique their investigations. All scientific sessions will be held at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA. (See the complete schedule of events for the IADR/AADR/CADR/2007 General Session for more information). The oral and poster sessions will be designed from accepted abstracts. If you are involved in dental, oral, and craniofacial research, we urge you to submit an abstract for consideration for presentation. AGREEMENTPersons submitting an abstract for the General Session are doing so with the understanding that they abide by the conditions, deadline policies, and the decisions of the IADR Annual Session Committee. An individual may submit only one abstract and may present only one paper (excluding symposium presentations) at the meeting, but may appear as a co-author on other abstracts. Presenters do not have to be a member of the IADR. Abstracts must not be submitted to the meeting if the work will have been previously published or presented at another meeting prior to the dates of the IADR General Session (the paper must be withdrawn if this occurs). If a presentation is later proven to contain previously published materials, appropriate sanctions will be imposed against the author(s), such as prohibiting presentation at the next IADR meeting. All submitters of accepted abstracts are expected to register for and attend the meeting. If an emergency arises and the presenter is unable to attend, he/she must notify the Central Office in writing prior to the meeting that he/she is withdrawing the abstract or naming a substitute presenter. All notices should be emailed to meetings@iadr.org. The substitute must be a co-author and preferably not already presenting another abstract. Failure to follow these procedures may result in the submitter being prohibited from presenting at the next IADR meeting. The Abstracts Issue of the Journal of Dental Research for the Annual Meeting is prepared by direct reproduction of the author-prepared abstracts. Abstracts will not be edited in any way. Thus, any error that appears in the submitted abstract will appear in the CD-ROM. The official language of the meeting and all communications will be English. IMPORTANT!All presenters will be required to pre-register by January 26, 2007. When you receive your acceptance notification, you will notice that you are only provisionally accepted for the program in New Orleans. There will be a link in the notification letter to our online registration form. If you do not pre-register by the date given, your abstract will not be included in the printed program and you will not be allowed to present your abstract at the meeting. After the presenter deadline, if you have registered, you will be sent a second notification containing your presentation time. These measures are necessary due to an increase in presenters not registering for the meeting. SYSTEMATIC REVIEW ABSTRACTS MODE OF PRESENTATION REGISTRATION FEES:All presenters are required to pay the appropriate registration fees. The registration fee schedule is as follows:
* Membership dues must be paid in full on or before the pre-registration deadline for you to qualify for the member registration fee. All non-members who submit an abstract will be sent membership information.
NOTIFICATIONWhen you submit an abstract, an e-mail message will be sent to you as soon as you submit your e-mail address. This message will remind you of your abstract ID and password, and of the location on the web where you can see what you have submitted. You should write down your ID and password as soon as you receive them, just in case the e-mail message gets lost or delayed on its way to you.
