| Tissue Engineering and Anti-aging Therapy | ||||||||
Sponsored by: Plenary | ||||||||
| Description: Each cells in the human body is continuously aging and loosing its functions. Thus an aged person commonly has specific features such as white hair, edentulous jaws and wrinkles in the face. Tissue engineering technology can contribute to improve any symptoms caused by aging by using undifferentiated ( in another wards “ young “) stem cells. We can separate the stem cells from human body and expand and graft it to human body. In the grafted site the embryonic conditions appear because the stem cell has a embryonic potentials. Dental therapy enters into the new stage with application of tissue engineering technology. This new technology will provide many options to condition the oral tissues such as gingiva, papilla and lip. By using these methods dentists can get the complete satisfaction from the patients after dental treatment | ||||||||
