Workshop to Foster International Collaboration in the Revision of the IADR Code of Ethics

Sponsored by: IADR Ethics Committee and Board
Description: The IADR Ethics in Dental Research Committee workshop wishes to foster the adoption and expansion of the Code of Ethics. It aims to review and provide a platform for the Divisions, Federations, Scientific Groups, and individual members to become conversant with the IADR/AADR Code of Ethics (www.iadr.org/about/iadr/ethics.html). The implications of changes in research practice, global developments, and expectations of individuals, communities, and governments will be considered as keynote lectures in the symposium and discussion groups representing the IADR membership. In completing this exercise, we will review and adjust the Code of Ethics, disseminate good practice throughout our organization, and, most importantly, encourage collaborative ethical research within the global dental community
