Dentin Permeability: New Applications to Adhesive Dentistry

Description: Dentin permeability characteristics include diffusional, convective, and osmotic-induced fluxes. The permeability of dentin is readily measured by its hydraulic conductance, which has been used to screen ability of many agents and products to occlude tubules, effectiveness of dentifrices for occluding dentin, and how well resins can seal open tubules
