Remineralizing Cements and Composites

Sponsored by: Dental Materials
Description: Bioactive materials containing polymermatrix and calciumphosphate fillers have been developed as adhesives and pulpcapping cements. Release of fluoride, calcium, and phosphate ions enables demineralized tissues to be repaired and prevention of recurrent caries. Excellent in vitro biocompatibility and in vivo pulpal studies demonstrate applicability of materials for atraumatic restorative treatment
