| Description: Recent reports have documented the need for strengthening the research infrastructure at U.S. dental schools, for incorporating research in the dental school curriculum, and for developing new approaches to training future clinical scientists in oral, dental and craniofacial research. To address these needs, the NIDCR has developed several new mechanisms that have recently been announced to the extramural research community.
