Methods: two samples melted in cobalt-chromium alloy were used in rectangular form of dimensions: 15x4x3,0 mm (sample A) and 15x4x1,5 mm (sample B). In the surface of the samples A and B, five holes were accomplished with carbide spherical drills, in growing scale of 1/2, 1, 4, 5, 6 , for they simulate porosities. The samples A and B were positioned in a plane surface on a film periapical (EP-21), perpendicular to the extremity of the X-ray machine (ddf 20cm, 60KVp, 10 mA) for radiographic technical. The times of exhibition were 0,2; 0,4; 0,8 and 1,0 seg. After the processing (time/temperature) of the 4 radiographs (one film for each exhibition), the images were analyzed by three observers in illuminator with magnifying glass. Results: the results demonstrated the existence of significant difference among the images of the samples A and B in relation to the times of 0,8 and 1,0 seg. The holes were detected by the X-ray with larger clearness with the time of exhibition of 1,0 seg. Conclusions: it was ended that, to detect the porosities presence in the metallic structure of the removable parcial denture, when using X-ray machine of 60 KVp and 10 mA, it is indicated the time of exhibition of 1,0 seg. | ||
